 NOTLEY GUEST HOUSE COVID-19 GUIDELINES

We all understand that we live in a very different world to the one we once knew. We must accept new behaviour and rules to protect ourselves and each other. We therefore ask you to read this notice to ensure you fully recognise what changes we have made to our business and also your responsibility to protect yourselves and any other persons

Our main aim is to keep our guests and ourselves as safe as possible.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

When making a booking we will take as much information from you via phone,email,text etc to minimise contact upon arrival. We will transfer this to our registration card but there will be no need to sign this form when you check in.

Shortly before you are due to arrive we ask if you could call/text us on 07415 102515 so we can open both the porch and main doors for entry continuing to keep contact down to a minimum. We will greet you as usual but following the 2m social distancing guidelines.

Room keys will be left in the room prior to arrival and upon departure should be left in the door lock.

Your card will be charged remotely and your invoice/receipt slipped under your door. Cash is still accepted but we would appreciate knowing in advance.

We are still able to serve breakfast in the Dining Room following the 2m distance guidelines. To enable us to do this we are limited to have either 2 single guests or 2 couples at any one time in the room. Dependent on our occupancy this may require us to create breakfast time slots.

We have employed a new, more intensive and longer cleaning regime for our bedrooms and public areas with a focus on high touch points, using appropriate chemicals and products (we will also leave windows open during cleaning). We also have increased the frequency of cleaning the hallways and stairwell.

During your stay we will not be entering your room for cleaning. We will provide a bag for your used towels to be put in and placed outside your door along with any rubbish you wish us to dispose of. We will replace dry towels back outside your room along with any tea/coffee top ups you require.

We will provide hand cleaning gel outside the main door, within the hallway and at varying points outside the rooms with appropriate signage provided

Prior to your arrival your room will have been thoroughly cleaned using antibacterial products. Upon departure bedrooms will be left vacant for 24 hours and then thoroughly cleaned. All laundry will be washed at the highest level permitted for the item.

We are available 24 hours a day as we live on-site so in case of any emergencies you can contact us via phone, text or WhatsApp on 07415 102515

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms then government advice is that you do not travel

We expect you to adhere to all social distancing measures when in public areas and respect the concern of other guests

We ask you to use the alcohol gel provided upon entering the house and during the time you stay with us

If during your stay you or anyone in your party develop symptoms of the Coronavirus (repetitive cough, fever, unusual tiredness, sore throat, loss of taste, difficulty berathing) we would ask you or someone in your party to notify us immediately by messaging us on Whatsapp 07415 102515 and remain isolated in your room awaiting further instructions
